Ingredients

  • 4 cups Watermelon
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed watermelon in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the watermelon puree, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill.
  4. Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  6. Scoop and serve the watermelon sorbet in bowls or cones. Enjoy!
