Description
A quick and flavorful dish of tender beef stir-fried with garlic, chilies, and Thai basil, served over fluffy jasmine rice.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2–3 bird’s eye chilies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup Thai basil leaves
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Optional: lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and chopped chilies to the skillet, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Thai basil leaves until wilted.
- Serve the spicy beef mixture over steamed jasmine rice.
- Garnish with lime wedges if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the number of chilies based on your spice preference.
- For a complete meal, add steamed vegetables on the side.
