- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 pound blueberries
- 1 pound raspberries
- 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
- Add half of the mixed berries on top of the cake layer.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, berries, and whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- You can use any combination of berries you like.
- For added flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice to the berries.
