Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the glaze. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the bourbon glaze over them. Toss to coat.
- Serve the bourbon glazed meatballs warm on a platter, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less brown sugar.
