Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and graduation-themed sprinkles.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For a festive touch, you can add more sprinkles on top of each cookie before baking.
