- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 8 taco shells
- Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While the beef mixture simmers, warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Spoon the beef mixture into each taco shell and add your favorite toppings.
