Sweet, juicy peaches grilled to perfection and served with a drizzle of honey and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful summer dessert.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, honey, and cinnamon.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear.
  5. Flip the peaches over and grill for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are tender.
  6. Remove the peaches from the grill and let them cool slightly.
  7. Serve the grilled peaches warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and drizzle with any remaining honey. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Choose ripe but firm peaches for best results.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
  • These grilled peaches can also be served with yogurt or cottage cheese for a healthier option.
