- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the Greek yogurt and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 1 minute until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.
- Use your thumb to poke a hole in the center of each bagel and gently stretch it to form a ring.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Brush the bagels with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything seasoning if desired.
- Place the bagels in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Air fry the bagels for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter bagel, consider adding a tablespoon of honey or sugar to the dough.
