- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
