This quick and easy beef stir fry is packed with colorful vegetables and can be ready in just 20 minutes. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!

- 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.
- Serve the stir fry over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
- Feel free to add any other vegetables you like, such as mushrooms or zucchini.
- You can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
- For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
