Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover until melted.
  6. Serve over cooked pasta or rice.
