Description
Surprise your loved one this Valentine’s Day with a sweet dessert that will impress! This easy yet elegant recipe combines rich chocolate and fresh strawberries to create a delightful treat perfect for the occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 1 cup (170g) dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 cup (60g) white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
- Sprinkles or crushed nuts (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place the strawberry on the prepared baking sheet.
- If using white chocolate for drizzling, melt it in the same way as the dark chocolate. Use a fork or piping bag to drizzle over the chocolate-covered strawberries.
- Sprinkle with decorative toppings if desired.
- Refrigerate the strawberries for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
- Serve and enjoy your sweet Valentine’s Day dessert!
Notes
- Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping them in chocolate to ensure proper coating.
- You can use any type of chocolate you prefer, such as milk or white chocolate.
- Feel free to get creative with decorations—try using colored sprinkles or nuts for added flair.
