- 1 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- 1 avocado, diced (optional)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef over the tortilla chips.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef and chips.
- Top with sliced jalapeños.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Top with sour cream, cilantro, diced avocado, and diced tomatoes before serving.
