- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup minced green beans
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package lumpia wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and onions, sauté until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in grated carrots and minced green beans. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- Once cooled, take a lumpia wrapper and place a spoonful of the beef mixture near one corner. Roll tightly, folding in the sides as you go. Seal the edge with a little water.
- Repeat until all the filling is used.
- In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Carefully add the lumpia in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can mix in some chopped green onions or bell peppers into the filling.
- Serve with sweet chili sauce or vinegar for dipping.
