The most addictive side dish ever, these crispy smashed potatoes are perfectly seasoned and cooked to golden perfection in the air fryer.

- 1.5 pounds baby potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the baby potatoes and cook until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and let them cool for a few minutes until they’re easier to handle.
- Once cool enough, place each potato on a cutting board and gently press down with the bottom of a glass or a potato masher until they are slightly flattened.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush or drizzle the seasoning mixture over each smashed potato, coating them evenly.
- Place the smashed potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese on top during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer for the best crispiness.
- Feel free to adjust the seasonings according to your taste preferences.
