Description
These crispy air fryer chicken tenders are juicy on the inside and perfectly golden on the outside, served with a delicious honey mustard dipping sauce.

- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Cooking spray
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken tenders to the mixture, cover, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs and flour. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip in the buttermilk mixture again, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey and Dijon mustard to create the dipping sauce.
- Serve the crispy chicken tenders hot with honey mustard dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken tenders in the buttermilk and breadcrumbs.
