  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

This crispy air fryer cauliflower recipe is quick and easy, ready in just 15 minutes! Tossed in a spicy Buffalo sauce, it’s the perfect appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slowly add water to the dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Place the battered cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches.
  6. Spray lightly with olive oil and air fry for 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. While the cauliflower is cooking, heat the Buffalo sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
  8. Once the cauliflower is golden and crispy, toss it in the heated Buffalo sauce until well coated.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can air fry the cauliflower for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of Buffalo sauce based on your spice preference.
  • You can also add a sprinkle of fresh herbs or green onions for added flavor.
