- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- Colored sprinkles (for decoration)
- Royal icing (for graduation caps and decorations)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, decorate the cookies with royal icing to create graduation caps and sprinkle colored sprinkles on top.
Notes
- For a fun twist, add different types of chocolate chips or nuts to the cookie dough.
