Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in ground beef or chicken, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  6. To assemble the tacos, place a generous portion of the meat mixture on each tortilla.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado slices, and shredded cheese.
  8. Drizzle sour cream on top and garnish with fresh cilantro.
