- 1 teaspoon cumin

- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in ground beef or chicken, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- To assemble the tacos, place a generous portion of the meat mixture on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado slices, and shredded cheese.
- Drizzle sour cream on top and garnish with fresh cilantro.
