  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups cubed bread (day-old works best)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Add the cooked sausage, cheese, cubed bread, and green onions (if using) to the egg mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the center and lightly golden on top.
