- 2 cups milk

- 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups cubed bread (day-old works best)
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Add the cooked sausage, cheese, cubed bread, and green onions (if using) to the egg mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the center and lightly golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
