Instructions

  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Fold in edible flowers.
  9. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
  12. Frost with your favorite frosting and decorate with more flowers.
