Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food coloring (various colors)
- 1 cup buttercream frosting
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients and milk, mix until smooth.
- Divide batter into separate bowls and add food coloring.
- Spoon colored batter into cupcake liners, alternating colors.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool completely.
- Frost with buttercream and add sprinkles.
Notes
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- Use any food colors you like.
- These cupcakes can be made a day ahead.
