  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of beef sauce, then noodles, then ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with beef sauce and mozzarella on top.
  8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
