Ingredients

- 6 lemons, zested
- 750 ml vodka
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 cups water
Instructions
- Wash and zest the lemons.
- Combine lemon zest and vodka in a jar.
- Seal the jar and let it sit for 7 days in a cool, dark place.
- After 7 days, boil water and sugar until dissolved.
- Cool the sugar mixture and add it to the lemon vodka.
- Strain the mixture into bottles.
- Seal and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use organic lemons for better flavor.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Can be served chilled or over ice.
