Description
A simple and delicious honey garlic chicken dish made in a crock pot.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove chicken and set aside.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
- Add to the sauce in the crock pot and cook on high for 15 minutes until thickened.
- Shred the chicken and return to the pot, mixing well.
Notes
- Serve with rice or vegetables.
- Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
