Easy ground beef stroganoff recipe
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until onion is translucent.
- Add ground beef; cook until browned.
- Stir in mushrooms; cook until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture; stir to combine.
- Pour in beef broth; cook until slightly thickened.
- Lower the heat; add sour cream and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
- You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
- Serve with parsley for garnish if desired.
