Description

Crispy and flavorful air fryer falafel made from chickpeas and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pulse until a coarse mixture forms.
  4. Add flour and mix well.
  5. Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.
  6. Brush the falafel with olive oil.
  7. Place in the air fryer in a single layer.
  8. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
